Ozone season (March 1 – Nov. 30) has arrived in Houston — the time when hot temperatures contribute to increased levels of ozone. During this time, the high level of impurities in our air contributes to health issues such as heart disease, asthma and lung cancer.

To help combat this clean air issue locally, the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) has kicked off a clean air awareness program and is asking you to commit to one clean-air action during ozone season in order to reduce the region’s ozone footprint.

Declare your action below and show your commitment to clean air in our region!
